About Phillip
Phillip E. Lowry is a shareholder in the firm and has been employed with the firm since 1993. He received a "BV" rating in Martindale-Hubble in the first year he was eligible. He joined the firm after serving as a law clerk for the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
Mr. Lowry received his bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University in 1989, summa cum laude, and his law degree from The University of California, Los Angeles in 1992. He served as an editor on the UCLA Law Review.
In addition to his experience in personal injury and complex tort cases, Mr. Lowry has tried complex water law cases, and serves a number of municipalities and clients regarding development issues. He also represents a variety of businesses for their dispute resolution needs.
Mr. Lowry is a judge advocate with the Utah Army National Guard, and has extensive particular training in fiscal, criminal, administrative and government contracting law. He regularly uses this training in his military legal assignments. In 2009 Mr. Lowry graduated from the elite Army Basic Airborne Course as one of the oldest graduates in the class. As such he is a certified Army paratrooper.
Mr. Lowry is general counsel for the Utah National Parks Council of the Boy Scouts of America, and he is a member of the Orchestra at Temple Square.
