Matthew is a proud native-born Tennessean and the third generation to live on my family’s farm. His roots trace back to his ancestor and the first governor of the state of Tennessee, John Sevier. While at the University of Tennessee College of Law, Matthew concentrated his studies on advocacy and dispute resolution. Prior to law school, he worked as an agent with Farm Bureau Insurance of Tennessee. Matthew understands the importance of communication, honesty, hard work, determination, and treating people the way you would want to be treated. He is honored to serve the legal needs of individuals and companies with interests in and throughout Tennessee.

Bill Pemerton earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Tennessee Technological University in 2000 and was awarded his J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama in 2005. Upon graduation from Cumberland, he was honored with a Certificate of Trial Advocacy and has since maintained a substantial litigation practice in both Tennessee and Alabama. His practice includes personal injury, family law, and general litigation. He was recently listed as a Tennessee Supreme Court Rule 31 general civil and family mediator.

Cavett, Abbott & Weiss, PLLC was founded in 2017 in scenic city Chattanooga, Tennessee. Mr. Weiss represents individuals in metro Chattanooga and North Georgia. Mr. Weiss graduated from the University of Georgia with dual degrees in Political Science and Latin & Classical Culture. He attended the University of New Hampshire School of Law concentrating in litigation and intellectual property. CAW represents individuals and businesses in a variety of legal matters.
