Tiffany Mays O’Guinn is a managing partner with the law firm of Mays, Byrd & O’Guinn, PLLC. Mrs. O’Guinn received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia and her Juris Doctorate Degree from Texas Southern University, Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas. She is currently licensed to practice law in both Texas and Arkansas and the Eastern & Western District Federal Courts. Prior to joining her law firm, Mrs. O’Guinn was associated with the nationally preeminent law firm of Gary, Williams, Parenti, Finney, Lewis, McManus, Watson & Sperando in Stuart, Florida, which has obtained jury verdicts in excess of one billion dollars. Since joining the law firm of Mays, Byrd & Associates, P.A. in 2005, where she now serves as Free Lance Counsel, Mrs. O’Guinn has been engaged in the general practice of law and managed multi-million dollar settlements for the firm. She has served as a legal advocate for several plaintiffs in the realm of personal injury, as well as represented clients in domestic, probate, corporate, real estate, and criminal matters. She was also appointed to serve as a legal attorney for the Board of Review for the Arkansas Department of Workforce Services. She was also nominated and recognized in Arkansas Life as one of the Top Attorneys for 2019. Mrs. O’Guinn further serves as an advocate for the community through her leadership roles and service to the Little Rock Chapter of the Links, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and the Greater Little Rock Chapter for Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Mrs. O’Guinn participates in several ministries at her church and is involved in the advancement of women, families and girls through her community involvement. Through her commitment to these service-based entities, Mrs. O’Guinn has been recognized as one of the most vital components for the organizations’ financial livelihood through fundraising. She has served on the Board for Inclusion Magazine since 2010 and is a Board Member for The Tidwell Project, Inc., which is a non-profit entity organized in 1990, to provide exposure to the performing arts in the economically disadvantaged community. She is currently a co-chair for the Tidwell Project Inc.’s largest fundraiser that the non-profit presents annually in December each year. She is a dedicated wife to her husband, who is an executive for Verizon Wireless, and a loving mother to many.

Arkie Byrd is a partner with the law firm of Mays, Byrd and O’Guinn, PLLC. Ms. Byrd received her Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Ms. Byrd is also a former fellow of the Institute of Politics at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. Prior to joining Mays, Byrd and O’Guinn, PLLC, Ms. Byrd served as a staff attorney for the National Partnership for Women & Families (formerly the Women’s Legal Defense Fund). In that position, Ms. Byrd was involved in the development of national public policy in the areas of gender and race equity—which emphasized advocacy and constituency representation before the administrative, judicial, and executive branches of the federal government. She has advised corporate, governmental and individual clients in EEO matters as well as EEO claims. She has also represented clients in domestic, probate and criminal matters. Ms. Byrd has also served as a cooperating attorney with the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, Inc. To that end, she was involved in two historic Civil Rights cases, one of which changed the face of the Arkansas judiciary (Hunt vs. State of Arkansas). Ms. Byrd’s practice emphasis includes corporate, municipal, and individual representation in such areas as employment, labor and employee relations, property acquisition and closing, product liability, and EEO investigation and mediation. She is a member of the: United States District Court Bar, United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit Bar, Arkansas Bar Association, Pulaski County Bar Association, and the W.
