Questions & Answers

Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.

I took on a pro bono bankruptcy case for someone who was injured and accumulated a large amount of debt because she was not able to work. It made a big difference in her life to be rid of the crushing debt and give her a fresh start when she goes back to work.

How did you build a successful practice?

I do a lot of networking, advertising and I give seminars to various public groups about identity theft/credit fraud.

What should clients look for in a lawyer?

A client should look for honesty in a lawyer, and reliability, a lawyer who will respond to clients' questions and phone calls and give periodic updates.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?

Local knowledge is an integral part of successfully settling personal injury cases.

What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?

I can provide a prospective client the information they need to prepare for a bankruptcy matter and personal injury matters. How to protect their rights, especially if they have a limited time to file an action.

What information do you need in a free phone consultation?

I need to know the date of accident for a personal injury action, and the location of the accident. For a bankruptcy, I need to know if they own real estate and/or a car.

What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?

What makes me unique from other attorneys in my community is a willingness to spend as much time with a client as the client feels he or she needs to be comfortable with the procedure of their individual matter, whether it is a personal injury action or a bankruptcy.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

I find it most rewarding to provide someone who has fallen into a difficult situation and helping them get out of that situation.

What are your other interests in addition to law?

I love to travel. I am interested in learning about different cultures, foods, ideas, ways of life.

Are you involved in your community?
