Questions & Answers

Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.

I helped a person acquire title to real estate that he had under contract with its prior owner, which was a multi-billion dollar bank. Instead of complying with the contract, the bank, their real estate agent, and the real estate brokerage, committed fraud by having the property sold to the real estate agent's wife. I helped the individual take title to the property, which was substantially rehabilitated, for tens of thousands of dollars less than the original contract price.

How did you build a successful practice?

Availability, success, communication skills with clients, colleagues, and the courts, and hard work.

What should clients look for in a lawyer?

They should look for an attorney who separates himself from all the others in terms of educational pedigree, strategy, availability, and ability to help you understand your options and give you all the important knowledge you need to make important decisions in your matter.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?

Local knowledge is not as valuable as a quality, skilled, and talented advocate on your side. Do not sacrifice quality for convenience.

What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?

I can generally discuss realistic goals and courses of action.

What information do you need in a free phone consultation?

Names of all parties, your telephone number, your address, and your email address.

What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?

I attended and graduated from one of the best law schools in the world. I have litigated various types of matters, from divorces to foreclosures to condemnation to traffic tickets to criminal matters, because I have the proven ability to try a case, and many attorneys do not or have never tried a case. Finally, among lawyers, I am a leader of bar associations at the state level, and I am cordial with other leaders of the bar.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

Successfully helping clients with their legal matters, and having those clients refer me new clients because of how happy they were with my services.

What are your other interests in addition to law?

I enjoy playing basketball, fine cigars, and spending time with my family.

Are you involved in your community?

I serve as a member of the planning board in my hometown, and I am a part of a fraternal organization that does charitable work in the community.
