About Ralph

A member of the firm since 1999, Mr. Colasuonno is a shareholder and chairs the firm's Litigation Practice Group which is comprised of 13 attorneys and several paralegals. He specializes in complex commercial litigation and has successfully tried several cases to verdict. Mr. Colasuonno also specializes in Real Estate Tax appeals and has effectively and efficiently represented both Petitioners and Respondents at trials before the Michigan Tax Tribunal and in the appellate courts. He also has extensive experience representing the firm's major financial clients in bank workouts, commercial foreclosures, bankruptcy preference defense, creditor's rights and construction lien litigation.

Recently, Mr. Colasuonno guided several of the firm's clients to successful resolutions of bankruptcy preferences lawsuits filed by a major automotive supplier. A frequent contributor to the Macomb County Bar Briefs, Mr. Colasuonno has also conducted seminars for local business groups and is also an active member of the Sterling Heights area Chamber of Commerce and local Kiwanis.

Mr. Colasuonno graduated cum laude from Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University where he was a member and Managing Editor of the Law Review. While at law school, Mr. Colasuonno also served as student senate President.
