Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.

After a client lost a case with an adverse verdict; I was retained to file a Rule 59 motion for a new trial and simultaneously initiate two law suits against the plaintiffs in the underlying case because they obtained the adverse judgment by untruthful testimony. After recusing a Judge, and following depositions, the clients had the judgment set aside and received land with a value of $500K. How did you build a successful practice?

Work 24/7 and treat every person I meet as a potential client; when younger I would sit in the courtroom and listen to older attorneys in trial; and the most significant impact to my professional growth was attending a Katherine James (no relation) Act of Communication seminar(s) and the ATLA Ultimate seminar (now Advocates for Justice).
