About Randolph (Tre)

I am uniquely positioned to provide the solid counsel of an experienced attorney while employing the newest legal methods and technologies. I find my greatest professional satisfaction in helping my clients through the most difficult times of their lives.

Practice and Experience

I began my legal career working for large insurance companies while gaining valuable negotiation skills, as well as litigation and courtroom trial experience. However, as a child of divorce I gravitated toward family law due to my desire to ensure that these cases are handled with the skill, compassion and understanding that families and clients deserve. I passionately believe in the holistic approach to family law in which the legal, financial, emotional and future well being of families and clients are addressed.

I am a trained Collaborative Law Attorney, and a proponent of the Collaborative Law approach to family law matters.

I also rely on my experience working for insurance companies in representing seriously injured individuals because of the personal rewards I find in helping my clients through difficult times.

I also enjoy assisting clients in a variety of other civil matters. These matters typically include contract disputes, debt collection, guardianship, business disputes, disputes with contractors, real estate disputes and related issues.

Philosophy

I firmly believe that negotiated resolutions of legal disputes offer tremendous legal, financial and personal advantages to clients. However, when negotiation is not an option, I vigorously pursue my clients' cases through courtroom trials and through the appellate process.

Professional Certifications

I am NCDRC Certified North Carolina Superior Court Mediator and an approved Arbitrator for the Wake County District Courts.

Personal

I am married and have two children. I enjoy volunteering as a mentor attorney and judge for the Wake County Teen Court Program and as a foster dad at the Eric Montross Father's Day Basketball Camp.

Education

I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I received my Juris Doctorate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law, where I served on the staff of the North Carolina Journal of International Law and Commercial Regulation for two years.

Blog

I author the Raleigh Family Lawyer Blog, where I provide insight into family law and other legal issues for clients, prospective clients and colleagues.
