About Raymond

Raymond Aab is counsel to the firm. He is a graduate of Columbia University and Fordham Law School and has been practicing law since 1978. Prior to graduating from law school, Mr. Aab was a detective for the New York City Police Department where he investigated robberies, homicides, and other serious crimes. From 1993-1997, Mr. Aab served as a commissioner to the newly configured New York City Police Department Civilian Complaint Review Board, which was charged with investigating police misconduct including excessive use of force complaints.

Mr. Aab has concentrated his practice in the area of criminal law and has handled literally hundreds of cases in both State and Federal courts of all types, including serious white-collar offenses and sexual and theft offenses. Mr. Aab has tried many cases in both State and Federal Courts and has done many State and Federal appeals.

Mr. Aab is an active member of the New York State Bar Association, the National Criminal Defense Association, and the American Trial Lawyers Association. He is admitted to the New York Bar, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Region of New York, and for the District of Puerto Rico, as well as the Courts of Appeal for the Second and Third Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court.
