Ms. Beason is admitted to practice law in the State of Oklahoma and in the United States District Court, the Western District of Oklahoma.
Ms. Beason previously served as an Assistant District Attorney for Oklahoma Judicial District III and had numerous trials as an assistant district attorney. Such criminal trials included, but are not limited to: (a) murder, (b) child abuse, (c) manufacture of methamphetamine, (d) distribution of a controlled dangerous substance, and (e) shooting with intent to kill.
Ms. Beason entered private practice in 2003 and opened the Beason Law Firm, P.L.L.C. She currently serves clients in a variety of cases in the areas of bankruptcy law, appellate law, family law, adoption, guardianship, dissolution/divorce, business formation, criminal defense, civil litigation and criminal defense litigation, wills, trusts, and probate.
Ms. Beason, formerly Rebecca N. Pfenning, is a native of Kiowa County, Oklahoma and a graduate of Hobart High School. She is a farm girl from Hobart, Oklahoma and the oldest daughter of Greg and Marsha Pfenning.
During high school and college, Ms. Beason was active in the Future Farmers of America (F.F.A.) Organization. She has proudly served as a former Oklahoma state officer of the FFA.
Showing lambs and steers instilled a competitive edge in Ms. Beason and that competitive drive remains alive in her to this day. She was blessed in the show ring and has received numerous awards for her animals as well as showmanship, including the award of “Grand Champion” at the Tulsa State Fair.
