Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
It was a civil RICO securities ponzi scam. It took 2 years to break down and track what happened to millions of dollars. We had to seize computers, and shut down shell companies. Finally were able to recover millions and convince the US Attorneys Office to bring criminal charges.
How did you build a successful practice?
We do not lose.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
An established track record in the area of you matter.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
We only handle Federal matters, it is not very important.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?
A complete case evaluation. The most important thing an attorney can tell a client is they have no case. The second most important things is an expert and honest assessment of what the case is worth.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
We do not lose.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Not losing. I will work all night, day after day, just to make sure we do not lose.
What are your other interests in addition to law?
My dogs, smoking cigars, New York Athletic Club.
Are you involved in your community?
Any free help needed is available.
