About Robert
Robert Klingler has practiced civil litigation in Cincinnati and the surrounding area for 20 years. Mr. Klingler graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 1985 Order of the Coif, having served as a Lead Articles Editor for the Law Review. He is a graduate of Manchester College in North Manchester, Indiana where he double-majored in English and Philosophy. One of his college years was spent studying in Marburg, Germany. After graduating from Law School, Mr. Klingler began his legal career at the firm of Keating, Muething & Klekamp, where he learned the art of civil litigation under the tutelage of some of Cincinnati's premier trial lawyers. He was elected a partner of the firm in 1992. Having developed an interest in representing employees in employment litigation, and feeling an entrepreneurial urge to establish his own private practice, Mr. Klingler founded Robert A. Klingler Co., a Legal Professional Association, in October, 1994. Before completing law school Mr. Klingler had a variety of jobs and experiences, including work as an iron foundry molder, deckhand on a river tugboat, union organizer and shop steward, taxi driver, and factory worker. He and his wife Jill have been married for 28 years and have four children. They live in the Cincinnati neighborhood of Pleasant Ridge. Mr. Klingler practices civil litigation exclusively and concentrates on employment and business litigation. He is a board certified civil trial advocate, and practices in Ohio and Kentucky state and federal courts. He enjoys preparing cases for trial, trying cases before juries, and arguing cases before courts of appeals. His greatest professional satisfaction comes from winning superior results for his clients.
