Robert A. Berlow, of counsel to the firm, practices in the areas of commercial real estate law and commercial and corporate law with a concentration in commercial real estate development and leasing. His clients include commercial real estate developers and local and national business retailers.

Prior to joining the law firm, Mr. Berlow was a partner of one of Michigan’s largest law firms and served as Executive Vice President, Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel of Perry Drug Stores, Inc., a publicly traded, retail drug and specialty store chain which operated over 500 stores in eight states.

Mr. Berlow is a past chairperson of the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan and a former chairperson of the Section's commercial leasing committee. He is a frequent speaker at programs sponsored by the Michigan Institute for Continuing Education and the Real Property Law Section. Mr. Berlow has been an associate member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and has served as a speaker at its national law conferences and Michigan Idea Exchanges. He has also served on the executive planning committee of the annual Real Estate Forum co-sponsored by the Urban Land Institute and the University of Michigan.
