About Robert
Robert B. George was born and raised in Lake City, Florida. He attended the University of Florida where he earned his B.S.B.A. in Economics, with honors, in 1992. As an undergraduate, Mr. George was elected to leadership positions in numerous student organizations and was appointed to serve on various university boards and committees. At the time of his graduation, Mr. George was listed in Who's Who of American College Students. He continued his education at the University of Florida College of Law where he graduated, with honors, in 1996. During law school, Mr. George served as Chief Defense Counsel for the University of Florida Conduct Court and as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Research and Writing and Appellate Advocacy.
After graduation, Mr. George moved to Jacksonville, Florida, to pursue the practice of law. While working at Liles, Gavin, Costantino & George, he has handled cases in both state and federal court in the areas of commercial litigation, professional liability, products liability, general real estate matters, general insurance matters, and personal injury. Mr. George represents his clients in both individual actions and class actions, and is licensed to practice before all courts within the state of Florida including the Northern, Southern and Middle United States District Courts. In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. George advises clients about franchise related matters.
Mr. George is an active member of The Florida Bar, American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, Jacksonville Chapter, Jacksonville Bar Association. Through the local Bar, he serves as a member of the Professionalism Committee and as a Judge for Teen Court. Mr. George is also involved in numerous community service projects and organizations not associated with the practice of law, including his church, where he serves on the Board of Trustees and his college fraternity, where he serves on the Alumni Board. Robert and his wife, Erin, have one child.
