About Robert

Robert J. Poulson, Jr. began his career on Wall Street in 1969 while still a student at New York University Law School when he worked as a law clerk in the legal department of a major brokerage firm.  Since his admission to the bar in New York State in 1970, he has represented broker-dealers, investment professionals, and private investors in securities law and regulatory matters, as well as cases in federal and state courts and arbitrations.

Mr. Poulson has substantial experience in managing corporate liquidations and has acted as special litigation counsel to bankruptcy trustees, debtors-in-possession, and Securities Investor Protection Corporation trustees, as well as voluntary corporate liquidations.  He has represented some of the largest financial institutions in the world in connection with resolving forensic accounting and asset recovery issues.  Mr. Poulson represents a number of companies that buy residual, contingent, and unclaimed assets from bankruptcy liquidators.
