About Robert
ROBERT V. MARROW's legal career spans more than 33 years. After attending Bard College, New York University School of Law and serving in the United States Army, Mr. Marrow began his career in 1968 as a trial lawyer with Wachtel, Manheim & Grouf at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York City. In 1971, Mr. Marrow founded the Law Office of Robert V. Marrow where he practiced for the next 6 years before becoming partner and head of litigation for Salon Marrow.
Mr. Marrow has tried cases and argued appeals in the Federal Courts of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C., as well as in the New York State Supreme, Civil and Criminal Courts. Some of the notable cases he has handled included Roche Products, Inc. v. Bolar Pharmaceutical Co., Ives Laboratories, Inc. v. Darby Drug Co., Inc., and Brickman v. Handler, which cases involved patents, trademarks, other areas of intellectual property and corporate oppression. Mr. Marrow also has extensive arbitration experience and is an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association.
In 1993, Mr. Marrow left private practice to serve as general counsel to Circa Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a generic drug manufacturer publicly traded on the American Stock Exchange. He counseled Circa regarding joint ventures, strategic alliances, insurance, labor, real estate, and compliance with the regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Food and Drug Administration. In 1995, Circa was merged into Watson Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a company traded on the New York Stock Exchange. Mr. Marrow participated in representing Circa in that transaction, principally supervising Circa's due diligence investigation and reporting.
After leaving Circa, Mr. Marrow returned to our firm, as Special Counsel and is now General Counsel to World Broadcasting Corporation.
