Robert C. Schermer has extensive experience with residential and commercial foreclosures, contract and deficiency litigation.  He represented FDIC and RTC in litigation, bankruptcy and appellate matters.  His experience includes representing commercial landlords in tenant evictions and other tenant actions and handling real estate closings and real estate litigation.  Mr. Schermer has completed in excess of 3,000 foreclosures over the past 20 years and is authorized to write title insurance in Florida.  Mr. Schermer was born in Sullivan, Indiana, in 1956.  He has a B.A. degree from Davidson College in North Carolina in 1978 and earned his J.D. in 1981 from the University of Alabama.  He is married to Kathy W. Schermer, has two children, and is an elder in the First Presbyterian Church of Bradenton, Florida.
