About Robert

Robert R. Underwood II, is first and foremost, a trial attorney.  Robert attended law school at Samford University's Cumberland School of Law.  While at Cumberland, he devoted the vast majority of his time to learning and sharpening his trial advocacy skills.  He was appointed as a Director to the nationally recognized Trial Advocacy Board.  As a result of his accomplishments, he was recognized by the International Academy of Trial Lawyers as a law student as well as being named a National Member of the Order of Barristers.

The skills learned in school have been put to the test in the courtroom.  He is licensed in Florida, North Carolina and Tennessee.  He actively practices in those states, as well as Georgia, South Carolina and Illinois.  In fact, he has handled cases as far north as Chicago, Illinois and as far south as Miami, Florida.  Robert focuses his practice on representing railroad employees hurt on the job; individuals who have been involved in motor vehicle and railroad related collisions; those injured by doctors and medical providers; and, those who have been taken advantage of by their insurance companies.  He also helps those who have been injured on the water in boating collisions, Maritime and Admiralty cases, and; seamen and crewmembers on vessels covered by the Jones Act.

In addition to protecting the rights of individuals in the courtroom, Robert also devotes a significant amount of time to protecting those rights in the legislature.  Whether attending hearings, testifying before committees or working one on one with legislators he works to give a voice to the everyday citizen against Corporate America.
