About Roger

Roger M. Franks was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. After completing high school in South Africa, he immigrated to the United States in 1985. Mr. Franks attended the University of California at Berkeley, where he received his B.S.degree in business administration from the Haas School of Business in1989. Mr. Franks received his J.D. from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles in 1993, where he was a note and comment editor for the Loyola Entertainment Journal. While at Loyola Law School, Mr. Franks served as a federal judicial extern to the Honorable Lisa Hill Fenning of the Ninth Circuit Bankruptcy Court.

Mr. Franks is the Chair of the firm's Litigation Practice Group and Co-Chair of the firm's Employment Practice Group. He concentrates in all areas of labor and employment law, as well as in general business and real estate litigation. Mr. Frank's practice is diverse and covers a broad range of employment and commercial disputes. He has served as a mediator and provides ongoing counseling to clients including human resource professionals regarding employment policies and litigation prevention. He also serves as Chair of the firm's Immigration Practice Group and also provides corporate immigration counseling.
