Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
I make a big difference in every case because, win or lose, client know they got the best possible effort and representation.
How did you build a successful practice?
One satisfied client at a time, satisfied the lawyer has given their case his or her personal attention. I adhere to what my dad taught me - we are in a service profession, not businessmen.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
Tenacity, responsiveness, willingness to explain the process.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
Extremely important.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?
Essentially whether initially at least the case is worth looking into further and what would be involved.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?
Enough to determine whether the case is worth looking into further. In an injury case - what happened, what are the initial injuries, have you been to the doctor etc.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
Personal attention to the case.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Figuring out a strategy that leads to a successful result.
What are your other interests in addition to law?
Reading and politics.
