About Samuel

Sam Braverman has practiced white-collar and blue-collar criminal defense for more than 25 years and has tried more than 100 jury trials to verdict as lead or sole counsel, including more than 20 murder trials and a dozen federal trials. He practices in the state and federal courts in New York and New Jersey, the United States Courts of Appeals for the Second and Third Circuits, and has won a reversal before the United States Supreme Court. Sam is the current co-chair of the Federal Practice and White Collar Committee of the NYSACDL. He is a Past-President of the Bronx County Bar Association, a member of the executive committee of the Network of Bar Leaders, a Bronx County delegate to both the New York State Bar Association House of Delegates and to the Judiciary Committee of the City Bar Association, and a member-at-large of the Board of Directors of the Dartmouth Lawyers Association. He is an Adjunct Professor of Trial Advocacy at Pace University Law School, where he teaches Advanced Trial Advocacy.
