Taylor Marrinan is an Associate Attorney at Singleton Schreiber, where he focuses on civil rights litigation. A former public defender with extensive courtroom experience, Taylor brings a deep commitment to protecting constitutional rights and advocating for those who have been wronged by systems of power. Prior to joining Singleton Schreiber, Taylor represented hundreds of indigent clients facing a wide range of criminal charges. His work as a public defender equipped him with substantial trial experience, including conducting jury trials, litigating complex motions, and engaging in strategic negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes for his clients. This foundation shapes his approach to civil rights cases, where he draws on his courtroom skills and unwavering dedication to justice to hold institutions accountable and secure meaningful results for his clients. Taylor earned his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law, graduating cum laude. During law school, he was an active member of the National Mock Trial Team and received the Pro Bono Service Award with Distinction, recognizing his commitment to serving underserved communities. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of California, Los Angeles and is a member of the National Police Accountability Project. Outside of his legal practice, Taylor spends his free time with his wife and son, often exploring the outdoors together. He is an avid snowboarder and, as a lifelong Padres fan, loves catching home games at Petco Park.

Jordan Goulet is an Associate Attorney at Singleton Schreiber's San Diego office, where he represents insureds in the firm's Insurance Recovery and Bad Faith practice. He is committed to ensuring that every individual has an equal opportunity to seek justice, regardless of socioeconomic status. Jordan joined Singleton Schreiber as a Summer Associate and was promoted to Post Bar Law Clerk in August 2025, before advancing to Associate Attorney. He developed a passion for plaintiff-side work after recognizing the significant financial barriers many people face in accessing the legal system. This commitment to advocacy drives his approach to representing clients who have been wrongfully denied insurance claims or treated unfairly by insurance companies, and he focuses on holding insurers accountable and securing the coverage and compensation his clients deserve. Jordan earned his Juris Doctor cum laude from California Western School of Law, where he was admitted into the Public Service Honors Society for his work as an extern for Magistrate Judge Steve B. Chu at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Philosophy from the University of California, Santa Barbara. While at UC Santa Barbara, Jordan served as a Public Safety Liaison between the student body, the UC Santa Barbara Police Department, and the Isla Vista Foot Patrol, where he collaborated with local law enforcement to implement public safety initiatives benefiting students in the community. Jordan is admitted to practice law in California. Outside the office, he enjoys golfing, snowboarding, and playing in his weekly softball league.

Mary Fata is an Associate Attorney in Singleton Schreiber's Motions, Writs, and Appeals practice group, where she focuses on complex appellate litigation and post-trial advocacy. Before joining the firm, Mary served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Vladimir P. Devens at the Hawai'i Supreme Court, where she gained firsthand exposure to the full spectrum of appellate practice. Prior to her clerkship, she worked as a staff attorney at a nonprofit in New York City, leading an initiative focused on providing legal services to low-income senior women. Mary earned her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law in 2022, where she was a recipient of the Berkeley Law Public Interest Fellowship. During law school, she served as Co-Director of the Berkeley Law Anti-Trafficking Project, Supervising Editor for the Berkeley Journal of International Law, and as a legal research extern with the UC Berkeley Goldman School of Public Policy Hague Domestic Violence Project. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University Bloomington in 2016. Mary is admitted to practice in New York. Outside of the office, Mary enjoys hiking, traveling, and drawing.

Zaira P. Estrada is a member of our Fire Litigation Division. Before joining Singleton Schreiber, she handled criminal cases for a law firm in San Diego and developed her advocacy skills during a three-year internship with the San Diego Public Defender’s Office. After earning a bachelor’s degree in political science in 2016 from the University of California, Irvine, Mrs. Estrada attended Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where she was selected to be a part of the Criminal Law Fellowship and Criminal Law Society and graduated in 2020. As a native Spanish speaker, Mrs. Estrada communicates easily and empathetically with clients whose first language is Spanish. She is adept at explaining complex legal proceedings in terms that are easily understood. In 2021, Mrs. Estrada was admitted to practice before California state courts. She’s also admitted in federal courts including the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. In her spare time, Mrs. Estrada enjoys spending time with her family.

Gregory T. Babbitt received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara (B.A., Political Science, 1993) and his law degree from Syracuse University College of Law (J.D., 1997). While in law school, Mr. Babbitt clerked for California Court of Appeal, Associate Justice Richard D. Huffman. Mr. Babbitt has dedicated his career as a California lemon attorney to protecting consumers. Prior to joining the California auto fraud law firm of the Auto Fraud Legal Center, Mr. Babbitt was a Deputy Attorney General for the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, Bureau of Consumer Protection (1998-2001), where he investigated and litigated fraudulent and deceptive business practices in the areas of automobile sales and repairs, home improvement, predatory lending, and debt collection. This experience served as the catalyst to his current California lemon law and auto fraud practice. Mr. Babbitt currently handles California car lemon and auto fraud cases (individual and class actions), and new and used California Lemon Law cases. He has obtained significant recoveries for consumers in a variety of areas, including the sale of prior rentals, demonstrators, lemon law buy-backs, salvage, flood damaged, and prior wrecks without disclosure, and for packing – a practice that involves the sale of items such as alarms, window etching, paint and fabric protection, GAP insurance, or warranties without the purchaser’s request or knowledge. In January 2005, Mr. Babbitt was trial counsel with Douglas Law for the trial of Robertson v. Fleetwood Trailers of California (Tulare County). A cracked shower drain caused water to leak into the underbelly of the Robertson’s trailer and mold to grow there. After trial, the jury ordered Fleetwood to repurchase the Robertson’s trailer and pay a civil penalty for failing to repurchase the trailer prior to the lawsuit being filed. Josh Green is a former federal prosecutor who joined the Auto Fraud Legal Center LLP in 2023. Josh served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California for more than seventeen years. Josh was the Chief of the Majors Frauds and Public Corruption Section at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, and he has considerable experience prosecuting cases involving deceptive, fraudulent, and predatory practices.

Srinivas “Vas” Hanumadass is a member of our Personal Injury and Wrongful Death practice group who focuses on single-event, catastrophic personal injury cases. He has earned several multimillion-dollar results for his clients.

Bonnie Watkins is an Associate Attorney at Singleton Schreiber and is part of the bad faith practice. Ms. Watkins focuses on cases involving numerous plaintiffs affected by similar harms, including consumer class action cases, unfair business practice claims, and environmental cases. Before joining Singleton Schreiber, Ms. Watkins clerked for the 7th Judicial District in Idaho, before joining the Prosecuting Attorney's office in Bonneville County, Idaho. Currently, Ms. Watkins is working on representing the victims of the Eaton and Palisades Fires and helping them fight against the bad faith conduct of their insurers. Bonnie Watkins graduated from the J. Reuben Clark Law School in 2019 and is barred in Idaho, Utah, the United States District Court of Idaho, and the United States Bankruptcy Court of Idaho. During law school, Ms. Wakins practiced on the Trial Advocacy Team, where she represented BYU in Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado. Ms. Watkins is also a graduate from Brigham Young University - Idaho with a BA in English & Literature/Letters in 2015. Bonnie spends her leisure time with her husband and her three young, very energetic children. They enjoy going on family hikes and traveling to see new parts of the country. When she has spare time, Bonnie enjoys archery, playing the piano, and playing racquetball.
