For the past 15 years, Sandy has managed her firm, Pfau Englund Nonprofit Law, P.C., where she focuses on providing high quality, affordable legal services to a wide variety of nonprofit charitable, educational and scientific organizations and trade and business associations. Prior to opening her firm, Sandy served as an attorney with a nonprofit law firm and as a senior manager of a major scientific association.
Sandy is active with the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE)and the Greater Washington Society of Association Executives (GWSAE). She has written for both ASAE's and GWSAE's magazines, has made presentations at ASAE's management conference, and has chaired GWSAE's Congressional Breakfast and the Virginia Subcommittee of its Government Affairs Committee.
Ms. Pfau Englund received her bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, from Eastern Michigan University, and her law degree and master of public administration degree with a concentration in nonprofit management from George Washington University. She is a member of the Virginia, District of Columbia and Ohio bars.
