Attorney Plepler joined the firm as a principal in 2000 after having practiced law in Manchester, Connecticut for 44 years.

Attorney Plepler is board certified in Civil Trial Advocacy and a member of the National Board of Trial Advocacy, an organization which is comprised of attorneys dedicated to protecting the rights of plaintiffs in personal injury litigation.  The standards of certification are: Good Standing with at least five years of civil practice; Substantial Involvement with at least 30 percent of time practicing civil trial litigation, including no less than 15 trials, with at least 45 days in trial, as well as 40 additional contested matters involving the taking of testimony; Educational Experience of not less than 45 hours in continuing legal education; Peer Review references by three judges and three lawyers who have observed the applicant in trial; and a Written Examination to test the proficiency, knowledge, and experience in civil trial law.

Attorney Plepler has tried hundreds of cases in the Superior Court of Connecticut and has argued numerous times before the Appellate and Supreme Court of this State as well.  In recent years he has concentrated his efforts in the area of medical malpractice litigation.
