About Sarah

Sarah Mahony Eaton is a Partner at Shimalla, Wechsler, Lepp & D’Onofrio, LLC.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2003, and received her J.D. from Seton Hall School of Law in 2007.  While at Seton Hall, Ms. Eaton served as Co-administrative Vice President of the Family Law Association, and volunteered her services to the Association of Children of New Jersey.  Upon receiving her law degree, Ms. Eaton served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Julie M. Marino, J.S.C. in Somerset County.

Ms. Eaton is admitted to the bars of New Jersey, New York, District of Columbia and the United States District Court, District of New Jersey.  She is a member of the Somerset County Bar Association – Family Law Section, and the New Jersey State Bar Association.  Ms. Eaton volunteers as a panelist in the Matrimonial Early Settlement Panel program for Somerset, Hunterdon and Warren Counties, and serves as an attorney member on the District XIII Ethics Committee.

Ms. Eaton dedicates her practice exclusively to the field of family law and has been recognized as a “New Jersey Super Lawyers – Rising Star” by New Jersey Monthly Magazine from 2014 to 2017.
