About Scott
Scott Bell is a member of the Litigation department, where he concentrates his practice on commercial and business litigation, media law, health care law, constitutional issues and securities.
In 2009, Scott was named as one of Utah's Legal Elite by Utah Business magazine and as a Rising Star by Mountain States Super Lawyers.
He received his J.D. with High Honors, magna cum laude, from the Duke University School of Law and was named to the Order of the Coif upon graduation. While at Duke, Scott served on the editorial board of the Duke Law Journal.
Scott is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and has represented a number of clients in the health care field. In particular, he has advised clients on compliance with the federal physician self-referral law (Stark Law) and the anti-kickback statute.
Prior to attending law school and joining Parsons Behle & Latimer, Scott worked for two years as a newspaper reporter. He earned a B.A. degree, cum laude, from
