Questions & Answers

Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.

Here is a review I received from a client, Rayna, that conveys the impact we can make: "I would highly recommend Scott Kuboff. He is very knowledgeable and will always fight for his client. Scott is reliable, always following through with emails, phone calls, and explanations of every detail. He is compassionate always willing to listen and offer his support. When my husband was killed riding his bicycle, Scott made my horrendous experience easier. He took care of many particulars that made my situation bearable. I will be forever grateful."

How did you build a successful practice?

Understanding that I am working for my client and, without them, I would have no one to fight for. Developing relationships with other lawyers and earning their trust with follow-through.

What should clients look for in a lawyer?

Comfort. Without a doubt knowledge and experience are critical; you do not want a business attorney handling a complex injury matter. But assuming you found a lawyer who has the right knowledge and experience, it comes down to is he or she the right fit for you.

How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?

It's helpful, but not necessary on injury or malpractice claims. There are enough resources available online to get a good understanding of the location of a crash, medical providers, and court.

What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?

Generally, whether the claim has merit and, if so, whether I can provide any value to the client.

What information do you need in a free phone consultation?

A general treatment timeline, names of potential defendants, and what injuries you are claiming.
