About Scott

Scott Allan Sandler, a founding member of the firm, concentrates his practice in the area of family law with particular focus in matters involving the Department of Children and Families.  Mr. Sandler has over thirteen years of experience litigating DCF cases on behalf of parents, grandparents and foster parents both in Superior Court and in DCF administrative hearings. 

 

Mr. Sandler was admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 1995.  He earned his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University School of Law in 1994 and his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Connecticut in 1989.

 

Mr. Sandler has been a member of panel discussions alongside Superior Court Judges regarding the practice of juvenile law, made presentations to family law attorneys regarding DCF issues and has taught juvenile law at Briarwood College.
