Attorney Pamela A. Borgess, the founder and managing attorney of Borgess Law, is an experienced and respected trial attorney who aggressively handles civil (non-criminal) disputes and litigation, including personal injury, defective medical drugs/devices or recalled consumer products, car & truck accidents, wrongful death, product liability, nursing home litigation, and contract/business disputes. She has extensive experience with numerous national high-profile cases, such as the national litigation involving a contaminated drug, Heparin, which claimed the lives of hundreds of people after being manufactured in an uninspected overseas facility. The case was featured in national news media, such as TIME magazine, CNN, Bloomberg and ABC News. Borgess Law was founded on the principle that serving individuals is an honor and privilege and that clients should be treated with dignity, professionalism and respect. Marc graduated Suma Cum Laude from Arizona Summit Law School where he was awarded CALI Excellence for the Future awards in Family Law, Constitutional Law, Property Law, Tort Law, and Antitrust Law. He is most comfortable in the courtroom, acting as an unyielding advocate for his clients. Outside court, Marc prides himself on being to provide direct and knowledgeable advice to his clients, especially in legally and factually complex matters, so that they are able to make informed decisions about their case and appropriately weigh their options. However, when Marc isn’t busy eviscerating an opposing party on cross-examination or planning his strategy from the trenches, he is enjoying an otherwise calm life with his wife and two children.

Brianna is an experienced litigator with expertise in high value, complex disputes involving antitrust, fraud, cryptoassets, unfair business practices, trade secrets, commercial contracts, real estate, partnerships, trusts and estates, fiduciary removal suits, and defamation. She has also spent a significant amount of time counseling private clients in more personal matters, including civil harassment restraining orders, tax planning, business formation, and other complex business areas. Brianna puts her years of studying the complexity and interrelationship of legal, social, and ethical issues to use throughout her practice and, therefore, brings a practical but personable approach to business and legal issues.

Peyton Cochran is a Florida native, born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. Peyton attended The Bolles School, where she studied Mandarin Chinese, and spent a summer semester travelling throughout China, practicing the language, and learning the culture. Peyton then attended the University of Florida and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Minor in East Asian Cultures, Mandarin Chinese. Throughout her time at the University of Florida, Peyton dedicated her studies to understanding the complexities of international law and the interactions of global governmental organization. Upon graduation, Peyton attended Stetson University College of Law. During her time at Stetson Law, Peyton served as a campus ambassador and dedicated her time to assisting the Stetson community as well as incoming first year law students. Peyton also worked as a teacher’s assistant in Business Entities, after receiving a top score in the class the previous year and has since assisted this Firm in numerous complex business and commercial litigation disputes. As with her undergraduate education, Peyton dedicated the majority of her legal education to learning the intricacies of international law and has since assisted this firm in numerous international cases, specifically those brought under The Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction. Peyton has been a part of this firm since 2022 and worked as a law clerk throughout her time at Stetson Law. As a law clerk, Peyton has had hands on experience with our clients and their cases, and is well-versed in matters involving contract disputes, business torts, partnership agreements, noncompete agreements, unfair and deceptive trade practices, class actions, and, of course, international law.

Larry L. Germer is a trial lawyer who has defended clients in major cases in all areas of litigation. He graduated from the University of Texas in 1963 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. In 1966, he received his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law, graduating in the top 5% of his class. He has been recognized as a “Texas Super Lawyer”, a Thompson Reuters publication, annually since 2003. Larry is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Texas, Texas state courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of Texas, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. For over 50 years, Larry has handled a heavy civil docket defending corporations and insurance companies in all types of cases, including significant personal injury suits and major commercial cases involving contract, antitrust, class action and public utility issues. He has been active in insurance coverage lawsuits and has published an article dealing with conflicts problems in the insured/insurance company relationship. In recent years, he has been involved in major patent litigation. Larry is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, and a member of the Jefferson County Bar Association. Larry has served on the Commission for Lawyer Discipline, a twelve-member board responsible for the grievance process for the State Bar of Texas. As a long-term member of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel, Larry has served on the board as an officer of that organization. He is a past Director of the State Bar of Texas and has served on its Executive Committee. He has served on the Board of the American Board of Trial Advocates and was a Board member and Treasurer of the Texas Young Lawyers Association. He was appointed as a member of a Pattern Jury Charge Committee and the State Rules Committee and has served on a number of other bar-related committees and projects.
