Shane M. Boasberg was born and raised in New Orleans, LA and moved to the Lone Star State to attend The University of Texas in Austin, TX. After receiving undergraduate degrees in Government and Business from the University of Texas in Austin, TX; Mr. Boasberg attended South Texas College of Law in Houston, TX. While attending law school, Shane worked as a law clerk for the prestigious law firm of Gallagher, Lewis, Downey, and Kim. During this time, he gained experience in legal and appellate research and writing and trial preparation working on the largest commercial litigation civil settlements recorded in United States jurisprudence history. Shane graduated from South Texas College of Law in 2002 and immediately made an impact in the legal field. He began his career at Heard, Robins, Cloud, Lubel, and Greenwood LLP in Houston, and in 2003, he returned to Austin, TX, to serve as General Counsel to the Honorable Senator Mario Gallegos at the Texas Senate. In this role, Shane’s legal acumen and drafting skills were put to the test as he provided legal advice, prepared opinions, bill analyses, briefs, and drafted bills and amendments for legislative consideration, serving the citizens of Texas with distinction. Following his tenure with Senator Gallegos, Shane worked for the Texas Office of the Attorney General-Greg Abbott where he worked on a variety of legal and political issues. Shane represented TxDOT in litigating and resolving contractual, construction, licensing, and engineering disputes in the State Office of Administrative Hearings (SOAH). Shane gained valuable experience at the TX-OAG where he was able to learn and work on various legal and political issues, including but not limited to, transportation law, employment law, environmental law, and eminent domain law. While working for the Texas Attorney General, Shane also served as the Legislative Liaison between the Texas Attorney General – Transportation Division and the Texas Legislature. After working with the Texas Legislature and for the OAG-Texas, Shane re-entered private practice in 2010 and opened his law firm in Austin, TX with a satellite office in Georgetown, TX. He has handled almost every type of civil case at some point during his career but primarily focuses his practice on civil litigation, whether it be business and commercial law, real estate and eminent domain law, family law, or injury law. Shane actively engages with the community and is a member of the Texas State Bar, the Austin Bar Association, and the Capitol Area Trial Lawyers Association. He was also selected to Texas Monthly’s “Rising Stars” list for 2012, 2014 – 2016. Only 2.5% of eligible Texas attorneys are chosen by Super Lawyer based on nominations from their peers. Chad was born and raised in St. Charles, Missouri just outside of St. Louis. He attended undergrad at Valparaiso University in Northwest Indiana and graduated in 2004 with a political science major. Chad then moved to Charleston, South Carolina in 2004 and attended the Charleston School of Law. He was part of the first graduating class and received his juris doctor degree in 2007. He was soon admitted to the South Carolina Bar and to the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina. After law school, in 2007, Chad joined the Berkeley County Public Defender’s office. He worked for nine years at the public defender’s office. Chad worked thousands of cases ranging from drug offenses, traffic violations to armed robbery and murder. He is well seasoned at going to trial and fighting hard for his clients. He obtained numerous not guilty verdicts at trial including Criminal sexual conduct, armed robberies and assaults. Even before trial, he got an attempted murder case dismissed at a preliminary hearing. He works diligently to get the best outcome for his client by evaluating risk. In 2015, Chad graduated from the National criminal defense college in Macon, Georgia. In 2016, He opened the doors to his own law office. In private practice, Chad was able to successfully get a dismissal on a Murder charge, Assault and Battery by a Mob, while also getting a not guilty verdict on an Armed Robbery. Being in private practice allowed Chad to expand his criminal representation to the magistrate and municipal level. While in magistrate court Chad has over a dozen not guilty verdicts at trial and nearly a hundred cases dismissed prior to trial. In 2019 and 2020, Chad was named as a top 100 criminal defense attorneys by the National Trial Lawyers Association. In addition to a member of the National Trial Lawyers Association, Chad is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Berkeley County Bar Association and Dorchester County Bar Association. Chad is also a member of the Business Networking International Lowcountry Business Professional’s chapter, where he previously served as the Vice-President and is currently the Member Mentor for the chapter. Chad lives in Charleston with his wife, Whitney, two children, Brian and James and two stepchildren, Erica and Chase. He sat on the board of his wife’s nonprofit organization Chase After a Cure who raises money for childhood cancer research. In addition, he has participated in Scouting as a Leader for his boys dens. He has sponsored and coached numerous youth baseball leagues. Chad was on the church counsel at St. Luke’s Lutheran church and serves as a commissioner for the Summerville Church Softball League.

Attorney Ian E. Osking is 5th generation Floridian and a lifelong Treasure Coast resident. He graduated from Fort Pierce Westwood High School and obtained his undergraduate and master's degree from Jacksonville University (in 2010 and 2011, respectively), where he was 4 year starter on the JU Football Team. Ian received his law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law. During law school, Ian was enrolled a dual degree program and graduated with a certificate in business law. Since graduating law school, Ian has returned to the Treasure Coast to represent and serve the members of his community. Ian's practice is a broad general practice and he primarily works in areas of real property, title insurance, transactions, business law, civil litigation, probate litigation, and trust litigation, but he does handle several other areas when his clients need his assistance. Ted has been with The Oshman Firm since 1988. He has over 25 years of experience in Medical Device and Drug Product Liability, Personal Injury Litigation, Medical Malpractice Litigation, and Commercial Disputes. Mr. Oshman received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Rochester. Following in the footsteps of his older brother Matthew, he obtained his Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School. Ted serves on the Board of Directors of multiple charitable foundations and religious not-for-profit organizations. He is active in sustainable business ventures throughout the country and in international markets. He also serves as Officer and Director of an educational, not-for-profit organization and supports organizations such as Greenpeace and the Alzheimer’s Association. When he isn’t in the New York office, Ted is often in court or has traveled to visit with a client of the firm. At home, Ted can often be found spending time with his wife and three kids participating in activities from spin cycling to fantasy football. He also enjoys basketball, hiking, and the opportunities to coach aspiring entrepreneurs and sharing his business acumen.

Nima specializes in litigation, mediation, and arbitration in with a focus towards elder law matters. He is a Graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law and earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Economics from Rutgers University. He served as a criminal law clerk for the Honorable Patrick J. Roma, J.S.C. for the 2012-2013 judicial term and earned an LL.M. in Dispute Resolution from the prestigious Pepperdine University School of Law, Straus Institute.
