I have lived in the mid- Willamette Valley since 1981, in Corvallis since 1989. Since 2000, I have been an attorney based in Corvallis, providing legal services in real estate law, business law, estate planning, and construction law, as well as other practice areas. Before beginning my career in law, I enjoyed a 15 year career as a professional forester in the private sector of Western Oregon’s timber industry. During those years, I gained invaluable experience with the workings of the business world generally, but particularly as it relates to land, natural resources, and the environment, and the impact of those things on people and families. In 1997 I entered law school at Willamette University in Salem, and graduated 5th academically in the class of 2000. Since then I have practiced law primarily in the Corvallis and Albany areas, but I also serve clients throughout the Willamette Valley and the Central Coast, and as far away as Seattle and Medford. I am currently a solo practitioner with an office in downtown Corvallis. One of the main reasons I decided to begin a career in law is that I recognized a need for skilled attorneys who could bring real life experience, and an appreciation for the needs of the clients, from a personal as well as legal perspective, to the practice of law. That's what I do. You will not see any leather-tassled shoes or insincere smiles in my office, nor will you be billed $50 for every phone call or email. I've always believed that approach is not conducive to the successful, professional, practice of law. With me, you are assured of receiving top-quality, reasonably-priced legal services, in a user-friendly, comfortable setting.  When I am not working I enjoy photography, gardening, hiking, skiing, travel, and generally just living on an acre in the wondrous Willamette Valley, with my two teenage sons, our dog and cat, and an aquarium full of colorful fish.

Theran J. Selph, Sr., focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury, motor vehicle accidents, wrongful death, and represents injured victims throughout Ohio. Mr. Selph helps real people solve real problems everyday. Mr. Selph is conversant in Spanish, having previously lived in Ecuador.

My wife and I have lived in Bethesda for more than 20 years, and our children attended the local public schools. When we are not spending time enjoying our immediate community, we love to travel and explore.

From a young age, Gary Shipman knew he was destined for the courtroom. After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, he earned his law degree from Campbell University School of Law at the age of 24. Two years later, Gary founded his own firm, and he hasn’t looked back since. Gary has spent over forty five years trying cases nationwide, including complex and consequential cases involving personal injury, commercial litigation, professional negligence, and class actions. His courtroom presence and dogged advocacy have earned him a national reputation, and his peers have recognized him as one of the Best Lawyers in America since 2007 and as a Super Lawyer since 2006. Philip is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the Colorado Bar Association, and the Boulder County Bar Association, where he served as the co-chair of the Business Law Section for two years. Stephen D. Morrison, III, is a Savannah native and son of a commercial fisherman. He is a formidable trial lawyer, championing his client’s cause with a unique combination of elite legal experience and blue-collar work ethic. My Interest in criminal law is rooted in one thing -- my desire to help people. I grew up in Midland, Texas, where I received a bachelor's degree in criminology from the University of Texas. Later, I was awarded an academic scholarship to the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan, where I made the Dean's List and honor roll and received my law degree. After completing a comprehensive internship at the East Lansing, Michigan, firm of Bodwin & Fuzak, P.C., I worked as a civil contract attorney for Daffer McDaniel, LLP in Austin, Texas on a large class action lawsuit. Afterward, I served as a criminal and family law attorney at an established law firm in Georgetown, Texas. The latter experience found me defending clients on the wide spectrum of criminal law charges I address in my current independent practice. My success in this area included helping clients suffering from mental illness receive a verdict of not guilty by reason of insanity. The tremendous experience and knowledge I gained in daily negotiations with local prosecutors and courts combined with my ongoing desire to help people protect their liberties in the face of criminal charges now drive everything I do in my own law office.
