Mark Wolfe is a partner with Boteler Richardson Wolfe – Injury Lawyers in Mobile, Alabama. Since 1987, Mark has worked specifically in the area of personal injury law, with particular expertise in wrongful death, motor vehicle crash cases, on the job injuries, defective products and life insurance claims. In addition he has had numerous articles published in national and regional law journals on a wide variety of litigation issues. Mark has achieved an AV rating by Martindale Hubbell’s peer review rating service and has been classified as a Super Lawyer ® by Lexis/Nexis. Mark supports numerous charities and community organizations. In 2005, he received the Outstanding Public Service Award from Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) for his advocacy work on behalf of drunk driving victims. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors for Prodisee Pantry, the Gulf Coast’s largest food pantry program. Mark lives in Daphne and is married to Kelly Langan Wolfe. They have two daughters (Lesley and Alli) and one son (Mitchell).

Ted A. Novick’s practice is almost exclusively limited to medical malpractice and personal injury cases such as wrongful death, car accidents, construction site accidents, scaffold accidents, police brutality, civil rights, and premises liability. Mr. Novick works closely with a medical doctor on almost all lawsuits so that he can fully understand “the medicine” to maximize a client’s recovery. Mr. Novick is a 1989 graduate of the University of Bridgeport School of Law and initially was a law clerk for the Honorable Michael Hartmere of the Connecticut Superior Court. In 1990, Mr. Novick joined the Office of the Westchester County Attorney where he prosecuted over one hundred child abuse and child neglect cases. In 1992, Mr. Novick was promoted to the civil litigation bureau where he spent four years and successfully tried to verdict personal injury trials on behalf of the County. While at the County Attorney’s office Mr. Novick also handled numerous General Municipal Law matters and hearings. In addition while an Assistant County Attorney he worked closely with the County Police and Corrections officers in internal affair investigations. He was recently appointed General Counsel to the New York Police Chief’s Benevolent Association and the New York State Crimestoppers. After he left the County Attorney’s office in 1996, Mr. Novick worked for two Park Avenue litigation law firms from 1996 to 2000, gaining significant experience and recognition as an attorney proficient in handling complex matters in the areas of medical malpractice, personal injury, commercial litigation and criminal law. From 2000 to 2020 Mr. Novick managed the personal injury department of the prestigious boutique NY firm known as Gaines, Novick. Ted achieved huge verdicts and settlements in medical malpractice, sexual assault, motor vehicles, premises and construction accident cases. In 2020, Mr. Novick opened his own firm so that he would handle only the cases he selects. Currently, Mr. Novick handles and supervises all of his firms numerous personal injury and medical malpractice cases. During his career, Ted has handled cases for victims of negligence resulting in over 100 million dollars. Ted is also proficient in defense having represented a municipal hospital, a correctional medical facility and currently a motor vehicle carrier. Chris Pence is a native of South Charleston, West Virginia and a graduate of Marshall University and the West Virginia University College of Law. In his practice, Mr. Pence focuses on litigation, where he has represented individuals and companies throughout the United States. He has significant experience defending coal operators and other mining companies in civil litigation and administrative proceedings pending before the Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission and the West Virginia Board of Appeals. In this capacity, he defends citations issued by the Mine, Safety & Health Administration (MSHA) and West Virginia Office of Miners’ Health, Safety & Training (WVOMHST). He also responds to accidents and represents clients in connection with investigations conducted by the various enforcement agencies. In addition to his work for the mining industry, Mr. Pence has also represented clients in cases alleging professional negligence, insurance coverage disputes, commercial contract disputes, auto accidents, premises liability and other personal injury actions. Mr. Pence has also represented victims of industrial accidents and their families, including the estate of a man who received fatal injuries as a result of an explosion at a natural gas liquids storage site. He has also represented individuals in actions against medical providers under the West Virginia Medical Professional Liability Act, as well as employees in claims against their employers for wrongful discharge, sexual harassment, violation of the West Virginia Human Rights Act, among other things. Finally, he regularly represents victims of automobile accidents. The Firm regularly accepts these engagements on a contingency basis. In addition to his civil practice, Mr. Pence’s Firm represents individuals in high asset divorce cases and, when called upon to do so, represents these individuals in child support, custody issues, and other family law matters. Mr. Pence has been designated as a West Virginia Rising Star in general litigation by the Super Lawyers publication for several years. He has served as a speaker at the Pennsylvania Coal Alliance/Pennsylvania Coal Mining Institute of America Conference, the West Virginia Coal Association, and various legal seminars. Mr. Pence received the Order of the Coif, Patrick Duffy Koontz Leadership Award, Paul L. Selby Law Scholarship and the Steptoe & Johnson Law Scholarship at the College of Law.

Ben has 22 years of experience representing clients in serious personal injury matters, disputed property insurance claims and other civil matters where people have been damaged through various forms of bad behavior. He has also represented several insurance companies in state and federal litigation in Florida. He is admitted to practice in both Florida and New Jersey, where he first began practicing law after attending Rutgers University for both his law and undergraduate degrees. Fairleigh Dickinson University, 530 Fed. App’x. 191 (3rd Cir. 2013) (reversing summary judgment granted to private university on plaintiff’s racial discrimination claim) Capodici v. City of Jersey City, 2005 WL 2452698 (D.N.J. 2005) (denying summary judgment to police officers on plaintiff’s civil rights claims arising from an unlawful arrest) Ben was also honored to have been selected to defend a sitting Superior Court Judge in New Jersey against charges of misconduct brought by other members of the judiciary. The formal charges against her sought removal from the bench but after a trial before a panel of the New Jersey Supreme Court in Trenton, the charges were reduced to a two-month suspension. Ben moved to Pinellas County in 2018 and became a member of the Florida bar. He began practicing at a large downtown Tampa firm handling complex insurance coverage matters before joining the Magazine & Light Law Group (now Light & Wyatt) in 2022.
