I am a native of Chicago, Illinois, and received Bachelor of Arts degrees in political science and speech communication from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, spending one semester studying abroad in London and traveling all over Europe. Following that, I earned my Juris Doctorate from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. I moved to New Jersey following graduation from law school and was licensed by the Supreme Court of New Jersey in 1994 and the Supreme Court of New York in 1995. Moving back to Chicago, I was then licensed by the Supreme Court of Illinois in 1995, and after moving to Texas, I was licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas in 2016. I have also been admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit, when I was appointed by the U.S. Court of Appeals as attorney to an inmate in his criminal appeal. I have also practiced in various state and federal courts around the country. During my practice, I have practiced in the areas of family law, corporate and securities litigation, mediation and arbitration, as well as product liability mass litigation, probate, and civil litigation. I am also a certified family law mediator. My primary focus now is on all aspects of family law including divorce, child custody, child support, visitation, and spousal support. Starting in Chicago and then New Jersey, I was blessed with three amazing children. After we moved to Texas, I was divorced from their father, took in two more children, and decided I could best help people by combining my life experiences with my abilities as a lawyer. The practice of family law involves intense emotions in the clients. As an experienced litigator and from my life experiences, I am able to empathize with and fervently advocate on behalf of my clients while offering creative solutions and ideas to help clients adjust to their new “normal”.

Amy Sklar has practiced with several well-respected law firms and independently on Long Island. She has over 30 years of legal experience focusing on Matrimonial and Family Law. She also has provided her clients with her expertise in Real Estate Law, both in connection with a pending divorce matter or otherwise. Ms. Sklar has successfully negotiated pre-nuptial, post-nuptial and separation agreements as well as stipulations of settlement. Her practice includes litigation in the Family Court, Supreme Court and Appellate Courts of New York. She has tried numerous divorce and annulment cases, custody hearings, domestic violence hearings, support hearings, and related issues both pre- and post-judgment. Sean S. Ramirez joined Frazier Law Office in 2016 and in 2018 he took over the day-to-day operations of Frazier & Ramirez Law. Sean was born here in Albuquerque but grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. He graduated in 2010 from the University of Arizona College of Law and decided to return to his native Albuquerque. Sean’s legal focus is primarily in family law, where he works hard to secure custody rights for parents as well as ensure equitable divisions of assets and debts in a divorce. Kelly Forst has been an attorney in New York since 2000. Since that time, she has helped hundreds of clients navigate their separations and marriage dissolutions, and has also represented hundreds of children in divorce, custody and other matters. Over the last two decades, her practice's core principles in family law have been peacemaking and problem solving. She was the Chair of the Family Law Section of the Monroe County Bar Association (MCBA) from 2012–2014 and has served on numerous Boards and Committees of various professional organizations, including the MCBA, CLARA (Collaborative Law Association of the Rochester Area) and the New York Chapter of AFCC (Association of Family & Conciliation Courts). Ms. Forst was admitted to practice law in Virginia in 2016 and was trained in tax preparation and planning in 2015. I began my legal career as a court reporter more than 25 years ago and participated in thousands of hearings, depositions and trials in criminal, probate and civil litigation cases before becoming an attorney in 2007. My passion for hard work has carried over into my legal career, and I don’t shy away from challenges. I enjoy being a part of a service-oriented profession. I am licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and Florida and am a member of the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation, Inc. I have earned my J.D. degree from the New England School of Law and a B.A. degree from Notre Dame College, cum laude. Currently, my practice is focused on all matters related to family law, including contested and uncontested divorce, child support, child custody, alimony and property division. I am a seasoned and precise litigator who is extremely comfortable in the courtroom. I also, however, recognize the role and value of family law mediation and act as a neutral third party for divorcing couples who are looking to reach an agreement on their dissolution without the time and expense of court. I represent clients in the Metro Boston area and throughout eastern Massachusetts, covering all of Middlesex, Essex and Suffolk counties. When I’m not working, I’m enjoying time with my family and singing, playing guitar and writing music.
