Mr. Jasne is a founding partner of the firm and a graduate of New York Law School. He holds an undergraduate degree from New York University. Upon graduating from Law School, he was appointed an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, where he served for approximately five years. Since leaving the District Attorney's Office, Mr. Jasne has engaged in private practice, primarily in the areas of criminal and civil litigation. In addition, Mr. Jasne is responsible for the firm's commercial-creditor bankruptcy practice. Mr. Jasne is a member of the New York State Bar and is admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and to the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Mark was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Wabash College in 2000 and from Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis, with a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in 2003. He has been admitted to the Indiana State, Northern Indiana and Southern Indiana Federal Districts since that time. Mark began his career serving both Marion and Cass Counties as a Felony Deputy Prosecutor from 2003 to 2007, completing thirty felony jury trials. He still selectively takes on criminal defense cases today. However, for the past 13 years, Mark has focused on civil litigation for Starr Austen & Miller, LLP and has tried many cases for plaintiffs and defendants. He has presented at legal seminars for other attorneys and insurance company in-house staff on construction law insurance coverage, personal injury and contractual dispute issues.

Louis F. Pignatelli currently practices law in several areas, focusing primarily on trial practice in cases concerning serious personal injury, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse and neglect, and wrongful death. Soon after being sworn-in, Attorney Pignatelli began to practice with his father, then Mayor Louis J. Pignatelli. He maintained the family practice while simultaneously serving as the youngest State’s Attorney in the history of Whiteside County. He rededicated exclusively to private practice in the late-1970s. Over the years, his practice has focused on obtaining compensation for injured people and their families. He has selected a handful of cases to follow this biography for your consideration. In addition to obtaining justice for injured people, Attorney Pignatelli has extensive experience in finance and financial litigation in competitive market sectors. Pignatelli secured the financing for his first residential development project with the title to his late-model Datsun. To date, he continues development of residential properties — both single-family and multi-unit — as well as commercial and industrial real estate in northwestern Illinois. Pignatelli worked with the Chicago-based Gamel Broadcasting Group. Over time he acquired a minority stake and later purchased a controlling interest in the group’s five-tower, 1,000-watt Fox Valley-area station under the call letters WFXW, serving news, talk and nightly music to Geneva, St. Charles and Batavia. Pignatelli served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Skolniks, a publicly-traded company on the NASDAQ. Then a director, Pignatelli stepped-up to captain the corporation — which produced the baked goods including the Olive Garden’s beloved breadsticks, as well as bagels and other bakery products — following the ousting of several members of management who were found to be complicit in corporate scandal. Under Pignatelli’s leadership, the national brand, franchise and wholesale divisions navigated toward an outcome in the best interests of its shareholders. Pignatelli serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Community State Bank of Illinois.

Jill Goldenberg Schuman concentrates in the areas of family law and alternative dispute resolution. Ms. Goldenberg Schuman received her B.S. degree with distinction in business from Indiana University in 1990 and her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Boston University School of Law in 1993. She has been with Cohen Garelick & Glazier since graduation. Jill is certified by the Indiana Certifying Organization of the Indiana Bar Association as an Indiana Certified Family Law Specialist. She is a registered domestic mediator. Since undergoing mediation training in 2002, she has mediated 100’s of cases. She has also served as a family law arbitrator. Ms. Goldenberg Schuman devotes the majority of her practice to family law matters or mediations and arbitrations involving family law matters. She has been a lecturer in various family law and alternative dispute resolution topics for the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum and has several published family law appellate decisions. She was recognized in 2007 - 2016 as a Best Lawyer in her field of family law and was also recognized in 2008-2016 as a Super Lawyer in her field. From 2011-2016 she was selected as one of Indiana’s Top 50 Super Lawyers and in 2009-2016 as one of Indiana’s Top 25 Women Super Lawyers.

Gregory Paul Oliveros was born and raised in the Portland area. After graduating from the Oregon College of Education in 1973, he taught in the Portland Public Schools. In 1981, he left the classroom to become an administrator with the School District. He was a specialist in the Staff Development Community Relations Office and was later an assistant to the principal of Humboldt Elementary School. Mr. Oliveros earned 2 Masters degrees in Education from Portland State University in 1981 and 1982, then went on to attend law school and graduated in 1990 at age 40.In the early part of his career, Mr. Oliveros had a sole practice. In 1996, Michael D. O'Brien was an associate to his former firm, and became his partner in 2000, now known as Oliveros & O'Brien, P.C.Mr. Oliveros has three daughters and three granddaughters. Mr. Oliveros and his wife, Gina enjoys taking short trips with his time away from the office. Mr. Oliveros is active in his church, Christ the King, and on occasion, enjoys playing a friendly game of poker.In addition to Mr. Oliveros' criminal practice, he works in the domestic relations area. Named one of Indiana's Super Lawyers by the Indianapolis Monthly Magazine, Bob Garelick concentrates in the areas of business, personal injury, and domestic relations litigation.Mr. Garelick graduated cum laude from Indiana University in 1963, and its law school in 1966, where he served as a writer for the Indiana Law Journal. He is qualified to mediate civil and domestic relations disputes under Rule 2.5 (A) (2) of the Rules of the Supreme Court of Indiana. He has presented lectures and papers on Alternate Dispute Resolution and Trial Practice to the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, Indianapolis Bar Association, Continuing Legal Education Forum, and for the National Business Institute, Inc. Bob is a member of the Academy of Family Mediators, and has served as Secretary of the Alternate Dispute Resolution section of the Indianapolis Bar Association.Mr. Garelick completed a two-year term in 1994 as President of the Indianapolis Law Club, which consists of 150 experienced trial lawyers whose membership is by invitation only. He also has been Vice President of the Indianapolis Bar Association, President of the Indiana University Law Alumni Association, and Chairman of the Indiana State Bar Association, Federal Judiciary Committee.
