Jeralyn L. Lawrence, Esq. is the Managing Member and Founder of Lawrence Law. Jeralyn devotes her litigation practice to matrimonial, divorce, and family law, and is a trained collaborative lawyer, divorce mediator, and arbitrator. Jeralyn represents clients with matrimonial and family law needs, including divorce litigation, mediation and arbitration, custody and parenting time issues, alimony and child support, separation and property settlement agreements, adoption and guardianship advice, domestic partnership matters under the Domestic Partnership Act, domestic violence and sexual abuse, and palimony. Through mediation and collaborative law, Jeralyn assists clients who are committed to resolving their matter without any court intervention. In the event litigation is required, Jeralyn is fully prepared, strategic, and confident in her ability to secure a favorable outcome.

Dan has been practicing law since 1986. He began his career with the District Attorney’s Office followed by a term with the Enforcement Division of the Securities and Exchange Commission. Later, he became in-house counsel for an OTC securities registered Broker / Dealer. Prior to the formation of Levin Jacobson Japha, P.C. he counseled clients in private practice for many years. Dan has extensive experience in and focuses his practice on counseling businesses and handling partnership disputes; corporate law; private placement financing; regulatory compliance; business succession matters; mergers, acquisitions; employment issues; corporate and regulatory compliance; health care provider law; wills, estate and probate administration matters; divorce, custody family law and domestic partnership issues; personal injury accidents; and administrative law matters. He holds a B.A. from the University of Colorado and a J.D. from the University of Denver College of Law. Dan is a member of the Trust and Estate, Family Law, and Business Law sections of the Denver, Colorado, and American Bar Associations, has been admitted to the U.S. District Court, U.S. Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. He has written numerous articles on business law matters and has served on the boards of several non-profit organizations, and represents a wide range of companies, commercial enterprises, medical providers, business owners and individual clients. Accomplishments over his 30-year career include obtaining a multi-million dollar jury verdict against a major telecommunications company; obtaining a million-dollar business saving verdict on behalf of a family-owned metal fabricating company; achieving a six-figure settlement in a restaurant personal injury case involving dangerously hot coffee spilling on a customer; negotiating numerous multi-million dollar private placement financings, mergers and acquisitions; negotiating and litigating numerous company partnership disputes and settlements, and negotiating purchase, product and supply contracts on behalf of many prodigious businesses.

Judd is a graduate of Rutgers University where he received a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and was a member of the Psychology Honors Society. After returning home to Chicago, Judd earned his J.D. at The John Marshall Law School. Upon graduating, he worked as a staff attorney and law clerk for the Presiding Judge in the Circuit Court of Cook County in Skokie. He wrote countless legal briefs for many of the Judges in the courthouse and assisted in trials ranging from contract issues to attempted murder. At his next position, he found himself in legal consulting, analyzing contracts for the merger of two of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Attention to detail was the name of the game. This helped prepare him for his next step as a Legal Advisor to the Secretary of State for Administrative Hearings. Judd represented the Secretary of State as a Legal Advisor and prosecutor every day for close to two years, totaling more than two thousand hearings. He was soon promoted to a special prosecutor position, one of only two in the entire state, conducting the more complex hearings on behalf of the State. It was at this point that Mike knew he needed Judd on his team (despite Judd's lifelong loyalty as a White Sox fan) and persuaded him to leave the Secretary of State. This is how Johnson & Goldrich, PC was formed.
