After graduating from Southeastern Louisiana University, Jeff obtained his law degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2001. He has been with Markow Walker, P.A., for more than fifteen years, and he is the managing shareholder in the firm’s Gulf Coast office. An experienced litigator, Jeff has taken cases to verdict or award in state court, federal court, administrative proceedings and arbitration. He also handles the appellate work associated with these claims and has acted as mediator for other parties in both civil litigation and workers’ compensation matters. Wes attended Rhodes College, where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Economics in 1989. He went on to obtain a juris doctor degree from the Mississippi College in 1992. After becoming a member of the Mississippi Bar later that year, he joined Markow Walker, P.A. Wes handles a variety of defense cases ranging from personal injury to medical malpractice, as well as general insurance defense and workers’ compensation defense. In addition to practicing law in Mississippi, Wes has been admitted to practice before courts in Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, and the District of Columbia. He has been recognized by the National Institute for Trial Advocacy for his advocacy and deposition skills. Wes resides in Madison with his wife, Loria Elzen Williams, and their twin daughters, Anna and Loria. He is an active parishioner of St. Francis Catholic Church in Madison. Wes enjoys golf and playing the guitar. He is an avid supporter of LSU athletics, the New Orleans Saints, and the Mississippi Braves.
