About Sharon
Sharon S. Almonrode is a senior litigation attorney and a partner and member of the Firm's Board of Directors. She has a complex litigation practice with an emphasis on high-risk, significant damage exposure cases. Her practice includes ERISA, pension fund, commercial, employment law, class action, and professional liability litigation. She has also represented commercial clients in products liability and patent and trademark related litigation. She has successfully represented clients in arbitration and mediation proceedings in cases involving multi-million dollar claims.
Ms. Almonrode has achieved very favorable results in trial, on motion, in settlement and on appeal.
A former Labor Relations Investigator, Personnel/Human Resources Representative and Administrator for two General Motors plants, Ms. Almonrode has several years of experience in employment law, EEOC actions and the defense of discrimination charges. She has negotiated labor contracts, grievances and employee disputes, overseen EEO and affirmative action programs, salaried benefit and merit programs.
Ms. Almonrode is a member of the Michigan Bar Association, the Oakland County Bar Association and the American Bar Association. She donates her time to the Detroit Institute of Arts; Detroit Film Theatre Board and the Advisory Board of Trustees of the Gibson School for Gifted Children.
