About Sharon
Entering the field of Immigration Law is a decision that is not made lightly. My decision to practice exclusively in Immigration can be summed up in one word: Commitment.
Commitment to learning the law: One of the most complex areas of law, Immigration requires a commitment to obtain and utilize the vast legal information and research sources available to obtain the very best results for my clients.
Commitment to daily legal education: Immigration laws change constantly. It is extremely important to keep up to date on a daily basis with changes in immigration procedures, laws and regulations that can affect any given case at any given time. In addition, I have been a speaker at local and regional conferences in various areas of Immigration Law, including the Farm Bureau of New York State, Cortland County Business Development Council, Vera House and the Syracuse Area Domestic Violence Coalition.
Commitment to Clients: Most important of all is the commitment to my clients. I strive to listen to the concerns of my clients, providing information in a way that everyone can understand. My job is to provide an honest and realistic assessment of the client's case, then to achieve the best result possible for the client according to the client's particular circumstances. I understand how important it is for my clients to be able to communicate with their attorney. In most cases, I will return phone calls and respond to e-mails within 24 to 48 hours.
