I prevailed in a Motion for Summary Judgement on appeal in a case stemming from alleged nursing and physician negligence. Standard of care for emergency room care under California Statute must be provided by an ER physician. Plaintiffs failed to include a declaration from an ER physician. Before starting my own solo practice I practiced law as an associate with top AV rated Plaintiff and Defense Counsels in their respective group practice. Prior to my career in law, I was employed as a Labor and Delivery RN, Nurse Manager in a variety of geographic settings over a 27 year period. My education and experience in hospitals gives me the edge over attorneys who do not have the same background providing insight into the standards of care at issue. While the non medical background attorney relies on medical experts to screen the merits of a case, I can often determine the merits of a medical malpractice case with a review of the records. My background as a nurse gains respect and easy communication when discussing cases with my pen experts.

My primary area of interest and experience is with claims involving birth injury.
