About Shelly

Shelly Cordon Teuscher is the director of government relations where she does lobbying on behalf of clients of the firm. She began in politics in 1983, with a job as research analyst for the main staff office of the Utah Legislature. She has worked as a lobbyist for the past 15 years, six of them with Parsons Behle & Latimer. During that time she has honed her governmental relations expertise by representing clients on a wide variety of issues, including general business, environmental, telecommunications, oil and gas, mining, and financial services issues. Her considerable lobbying background includes working in the government arena both defensively to protect client interests, and proactively to solve problems that confront them. She is experienced in every aspect of governmental relations in the state, including at the county and city level. Her background also includes work on public and community relations, where she has considerable expertise representing clients who need to work cooperatively with community groups.
