Kelly Burnside is the founding owner of Burnside Law Firm, LLC. Kelly focuses on personal injury, workers compensation and social security disablity. She was a founding partner at Oswald & Burnside, LLC in West Columbia and also a partner at the Law Offices of Robert Dodson, PA. before opening her own firm, Burnside Law Firm, LLC in West Columbia, South Carolina. Ms. Burnside received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance and Real Estate from the University of South Carolina in 2006 and her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2013. Prior to opening Burnside Law Firm, Ms. Burnside was a partner at two local law firms in the Columbia area. An active member in her West Columbia community circle, Ms. Burnside is also a member of the South Carolina Injured Workers’ Advocates, South Carolina Association for Justice, South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, South Carolina Women Lawyers Association, and the Lexington County Bar Association. Ms. Burnside was elected by her peer recognition and professional achievement in 2021 as Top Attorneys in South Carolina Rising Stars, Super Lawyers Rising Stars 2021, Lawyers of Distinction for Recognizing Excellence in Personal Injury Law in 2021 and Elite Lawyer in 2022. A graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law and a life-long South Carolina resident, Matt Jepertinger focuses his practice at Callison Tighe on civil litigation. Prior to law school and a legal career, Matt earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Francis Marion University and worked as a Registered Nurse in an intensive care unit at a large South Carolina regional medical center. In his legal practice, Matt combines his medical experience and training with the practice of law. This experience gives his clients insight when being advised on their legal rights and any potential claims involving the healthcare industry. After leaving the medical field, Matt attended law school at the University of South Carolina and was the recipient of the William P. Walker Jr. Scholarship. During law school, Matt served as a member of the Moot Court Bar and as a staff member of the ABA Real Property, Trust & Estate Law Journal. Matt earned Dean’s List honors multiple semesters and won the prestigious CALI Award in Trial Advocacy, an honor given to the student with the highest score in a given law school class. Between semesters, Matt worked as a summer associate for two South Carolina law firms, focusing on healthcare fraud, white collar criminal defense and real estate litigation. Matt came to Callison Tighe in his final year of law school and joined the firm as an associate attorney after successfully being admitted to the South Carolina Bar. Matt has volunteered in Central and South America and has summitted Mt. Kilimanjaro, the tallest freestanding mountain in the world and one of the Seven Summits.

Attorney Jason Reynolds has a passion for helping people. Along with his work in the community and schools, Jason channels his passion for helping injured people get the medical treatment they need and fair compensation from those that caused their injuries. To that end, Jason has handled complex personal injury cases for well over a decade. Jason began his legal career with a large firm, where he spent eight years practicing on the defense side of personal injury litigation (primarily defending large corporations and national trucking companies in catastrophic injury cases). Chase Keibler grew up outside of Pittsburgh, PA in a blue-collar town before he and his family moved to South Carolina in 2013. Chase holds true to his core values: hard work through teamwork and drive, justice through vision and planning, and service through commitment to others. Chase graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (“IUP”), located about 60 miles outside of Pittsburgh. While at IUP, Chase met his wife, Laura, played ACHA Division I hockey, and served as the captain of the hockey team his senior year. Chase graduated IUP with a Bachelor of Arts in English, Pre-law and a minor degree in Political Science, and he was an ACHA Academic All American his junior and senior year. During his sophomore year at IUP, he started the IUP Pre-Law Society and served as its President for three years. For six years throughout the final years of high school and while getting his undergraduate degree, Chase worked as a roofer laying shingles. Following IUP, Chase studied law at The University of South Carolina School of Law. He graduated in the top 15% of the class, cum laude, and Order of the Wig and Robe and served as the Senior Articles Editor of the South Carolina Law Review and as a Judicial Extern for Judge Michelle Childs in the District of South Carolina. Following law school, Chase began his career as a trial attorney at Nexsen Pruet, LLC – one of the region’s largest and well-respected law firms. While at Nexsen Pruet, Chase represented both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal court and had a diverse litigation practice, handling matters related to federal antitrust cartels, unfair trade practice, complex commercial and business litigation, personal injury and related insurance actions, and land use litigation. Chase successfully represented businesses in multi-million-dollar disputes including prosecuting price-fixing antitrust cartels, breach of contract claims, and bad faith insurance claims for insurer’s failure to cover or defend an insured. Chase also represented individual plaintiffs who suffered personal injuries including dog bites, bed bugs, and injuries caused by the government. Importantly, Chase represented insurance companies in truck accidents and car accidents. While representing insurance companies, Chase learned how they value cases, he saw how they treat injured individuals, and he learned how they operate. Chase is licensed in both North Carolina and South Carolina. He is a proven trial attorney and has considerable courtroom experience, trying numerous bench and jury trials to verdict. He tried cases on behalf of injured individuals, corporate plaintiffs, and insurance companies.
