Mr. Stephen Dillon Hartman, Member

Since his first year of law school, he has worked as a member of Kerger & Kerger, then Kerger & Associates and is now a managing member of Kerger & Hartman. His first trial in Federal Court occurred while he was still in law school. Since that time, he has handled a wide variety of complex and high profile cases, arguing in the Ohio Supreme Court, several Courts of Appeals and appearing in many trial courts across the state.

He is admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and both federal trial courts in Ohio, as well as the Eastern District of Michigan. He is a member of the Federal, Ohio and Toledo Bar Associations as well as the National and Maumee Valley Criminal Defense Lawyers Associations.

For the past four years, he has co-chaired and hosted the Nicholas J. Walinski Federal Court Seminar at the Toledo Bar Association and currently serves as Chairman of the Toledo Bar's Federal Court Committee. He has been selected as a Rising Star among lawyers in Ohio by Cincinnati Magazine for 2004-2008. He was profiled in that publication in 2005. In 2007, he was selected for leadership recognition in the 20 under 40 program. He currently serves as Chairman of Family Services of Northwest Ohio. He earned his J.D. Masters of Business Administration from University of Toledo.
