About Stephen
Stephen Clough is a partner with Maier Gutierrez & Associates and a senior litigation attorney in the firm’s personal injury department. Stephen’s practice also includes cases involving business, real estate and employment litigation. Stephen also has prior experience with criminal litigation.
Stephen began his legal career as an extern for the Honorable Judge Michael Cherry and later became the law clerk for then-District Judge Douglas W. Herndon, who now serves on the Nevada Supreme Court. Stephen has extensive experience and knowledge of the entire Nevada judicial system.
Stephen was born and raised in Dearborn, Michigan. He attended the University of Michigan, where he first earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Stephen then continued his education with law school at Syracuse University College of Law in Syracuse, New York, and earned his law degree in 2003. After graduation, Stephen moved to Las Vegas to pursue his legal career. The Silver State is now his home, and Stephen practices law exclusively in Nevada.
“My interest in law came from my life experiences,” Stephen says. “We help our clients solve problems, unburden themselves, and relieve stress.”
In his personal time, Stephen says he is “blue through and through” for his alma mater, the University of Michigan. He is also a fan of the Vegas Golden Knights and loves the Las Vegas Aviators. Stephen’s bucket list includes more travels to Europe, including visiting Scandinavia and the Mediterranean.
