Stephen A. Scott specializes in trying all types of professional liability actions, including claims against lawyers, Directors and Officers, and health care professionals. He was Chairman of Pilot/Legis, a non-profit risk purchasing group facilitating lawyer's professional liability coverage for over 20 mid sized law firms located in California, Arizona, Illinois and Massachusetts.
Mr. Scott has tried over 20 Superior Court jury trials and has arbitrated numerous commercial matters, including partnership disputes. He represents insurers in bad faith litigation and was general counsel for Eldorado Insurance Co. before joining Ropers Majeski in 1976.
