Steve Williamson serves as trial counsel to Elliot Ifraimoff & Associates, P.C.  He is a seasoned trial lawyer with a proven track record of getting excellent results in all types of injury cases.

Recently, Steve has obtained several large jury verdicts for his clients, including a record-setting verdict of more than $117 Million Dollars, which is one of the largest verdicts in New York State history in a non-medical malpractice injury case, and another verdict of $10 Million Dollars.

Steve’s results also include several eight figure case resolutions and multiple jury verdicts in excess of $4 Million Dollars, $2 Million Dollars and $1 Million Dollars.

In addition, Steve has negotiated scores of million dollar and multi-million-dollar settlements. With these results, Steve provides his clients with full justice, closure, and peace of mind, enabling them to get the care they need and support themselves and their families without the fear of financial insecurity.

In more than 20 years of practice, Steve has extensive experience in government and private practice, prosecuting and defending significant complex injury cases from both sides of the courtroom.

His results, including “featured verdicts,” have been published in Verdict Search, the New York Law Journal and elsewhere.

Before starting his firm in 2011, Steve was the senior trial attorney for the City of New York in Brooklyn. At the Office of the Corporation Counsel, Steve defended the mayoral agencies in numerous jury trials in New York State Supreme Court. Trying dozens of the biggest and most complex cases in the county, he consistently obtained excellent results and won awards for his courtroom performance. These cases included police excessive force, false arrest, and federal civil rights claims, wrongful death, labor law, injured municipal worker claims, negligent school supervision, negligent security, premises liability and other personal injury matters.

Prior to the Law Department, Steve was the managing trial attorney at one of New York City’s largest plaintiffs’ personal injury firms where he tried cases and litigated a wide range of legal actions including labor law, negligent security, premises liability, municipal liability, auto collisions and aviation disaster.

Steve has received awards from the Brooklyn Bar Association and Brooklyn Community Service (BCS) for his service to the community.

Currently, Steve serves as the Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors at Access Justice Brooklyn, the premier organization in Brooklyn providing free legal services to people and families with legal problems who cannot afford a lawyer.

Steve is a lifelong Brooklyn native and former political operative who attended Hobart College and New York Law School. When not in the office, Steve enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
