Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
1) We recently represented a disabled woman living in a nursing home who developed severe bedsores and required transfer to a higher quality facility. The Malman Law team was able to quickly resolve the case and the settlement funds were immediately utilized to transfer our client to a new facility where she recovered form the initial bedsores.
How did you build a successful practice?
2) Malman Law has become a well-respected brand in Chicago through 20 years of client satisfaction. We strive to respond to our client's inquiries immediately and we are available 24/7 to answer any questions. A large portion of our current caseload is from past clients who were very satisfied and then decided to refer us a friend or family member.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
3) All of our lawyers have either been raised in and around Chicago or have attended law school in Chicago. Being trained in Illinois State and local rules affords our staff an advantage over those who are unfamiliar with practicing law in Illinois. Since we have handled over 15,000 in the 20 years, almost every insurance company, lawyer or Judge knows who we are and the outstanding work we perform.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
4) If a prospective client calls, or emails, for a free consultation we will gather all of the information about the case and then advise them of their options. We generally can advise a client if it sounds like a case we would accept and why or why not. In addition to legal advice, we often direct clients to other organizations that may be able to better serve them.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?
5) When calling or emailing for a free consultation, it is best to start out by stating what type of case is involved. For example, nursing home, auto accident, workers' compensation, medical malpractice, wrongful death or slip and fall. If you don't know what type of case it is, simply tell the lawyer where you were injured. Next, you should tell the lawyer the date that the injury occurred and briefly summarize what happened. Finally, summarize the inuries sustained and indicate if any surgery or lengthy hospitalization was required.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
6) Experience for over 20 years, trust of handling over 15,000 cases and results of collecting over $150,000,00000. That's what sets us apart along with the fact that I am personally available 24/7 for any client questions or concerns.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
7) The most rewarding part of my job is navigating our clients through difficult times and knowing that we are here for them 24/7. I really enjoy the fact that I can put my client's at ease by knowing the answers to all of their questions and concerns. Ultimately, it's about changing their lives after a tragic event.
