About Steven

Steven McNeely is a licensed Arkansas attorney, with over twenty years of experience handling Arkansas Workers’ Compensation Cases and Social Security Disability.  He is a retired JAG Major from the United State Army Reserves.  He is the five time former Chairman of the Arkansas Bar Association, Workers Compensation-Section, and served as the Chairman of the Disability-Section.  He has lectured on: (1) Arkansas Workers Compensation, (2) Social Security Disability, (3) the Interplay of benefits, (4) the Best of Continuing Legal Education- for the Arkansan Bar Association.

Attorney fees are contingent on obtaining a positive recovery. Workers Compensation Attorneys’ fee are set by statute and or basically an amount equal to 25% of the cash benefits you obtain for the client. See ACA 11-9-715. (Attorney fees are not claimed on benefits the client, is already receiving when they hire the attorney) Social Security Disability fees are set by law and are basically 25% of the back pay won for the client, with a maximum of $6,000.00. Under both areas, if there is not recovery then there is no fee.
