Questions & Answers
Please describe a case in the last year or two where you made a big difference.
Represented a young black youth who was falsely arrested and beaten by the police. We had the criminal charges thrown out and settled his civil rights case against the police officers involved for high six figure amount. Represented a house-keeper to a famous athlete who was involved in a car accident with a commercial vehicle. She lost her job as a result of not being able to return to work in a timely manner. Settled her case out of court in excess of one million dollars.
How did you build a successful practice?
Hands on approach with the clients. Have always strived to exceed the client's expectations. The proof is the constant referrals from our former clients.
What should clients look for in a lawyer?
A lawyer must be always attentive to the personal needs of the client. Too often lawyers become disconnected from the client and pass off the communications to their support staff. Client's want to hear from the attorney not from the support staff. We pride ourselves on that. We have taken over numerous cases from other law firms who have forgotten about their client's cases or have failed to properly communicate with the client.
How important is local knowledge to the success of your cases?
It is imperative to cultivate relationships with others which can foster success.
What information can you provide in a free phone consultation?
We pride ourselves in not rushing people off the phone. We invest our time with the client on the phone so when they meet us they have the confidence already in us that we can help them. We strive to answer all of the perspective client's questions before meeting with them. We recognize they are in need of help and we want them to know we can help them.
What information do you need in a free phone consultation?
Nature of accident, any insurance information, nature of injuries, medical treatment. On Criminal side type of charges, investigating agency, background leading up to investigation and/or arrest. Prior history.
What differentiates you from other lawyers in your community?
Absolutely a hands on approach. Our former law enforcement experience with the FBI gives us a truly unique perspective in understanding how a case is initiated and followed through to an arrest and ultimate prosecution. On the personal injury side, again our hands on approach to details and developed relationships with insurance adjusters, defense attorneys and doctors.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Having a client express their gratitude and saying thank you for helping them The biggest compliment comes from a former client referring us their friend or relative or other.
What are your other interests in addition to law?
Physical training, traveling and family.
Are you involved in your community?
Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce and the Sons of Italy.
