Susan Egan has been practicing employment law for more than 30 years. While the majority of her career has been spent representing employers, including Fortune 500 companies as well as smaller corporations, she also represents employees, particularly executives, trying to resolve issues, whether through negotiation or litigation with their employers.

Egan has represented employees and employers in negotiations over employment agreements and severance arrangements, in disputes over non compete clauses and in claims of unequal pay, promotion, working conditions and termination resulting from discrimination on the basis of race, gender, religion, national origin.

She has frequently represented employees and employers in disputes involving sexual harassment and sex discrimination and is particularly familiar with litigation concerning the emotional distress such conduct typically causes.

In her practice, in a variety of settings, she has focused particularly on damages for emotional distress and on managing mental and emotional disabilities at work.
