About Sydney

Sidney Ravkind has influenced the judicial systems for almost fifty years. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Texas and his law degree from the Law School at the University of Texas graduating with Highest Honors in 1960. His honors included, The Chancellors, Order of the Coif, and Student Editor of the Texas Law Review.

After graduating law school, Sidney worked as a Law Clerk for former Chief Justice Texas Supreme Court, Robert Calvert from 1960-1961 and moved on as the law clerk for Simon Sobeloff Chief Justice United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, 1961-1962. In 1962, joined the law firm of Mandell & Wright and became its managing partner in 1976. After 32 years with Mandel & Wright, he associated with Zoe Littlepage to open Ravkind & Littlepage (1994-1999). Ravkind & Littlepage was renamed the Ravkind Firm in 1999. Sidney Ravkind recently joined forces with Loya & Associates. He is a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
